1. Who We Are

VideoParser ("we", "us", "our") is a browser extension and web tool for downloading video content. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our service at videoparser.ncide.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is strictly necessary:

• Account data (if you register): email address, name. Authentication handled by Google Firebase; profile data stored in our own PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU/UK.
• Subscription data: plan type, payment status. Payments are processed by CryptoCloud — we never see or store your card or wallet credentials.
• Usage logs: download requests (URL, timestamp, format). Used to enforce rate limits and detect abuse. Retained 30 days.
• Server logs: IP address, User-Agent, HTTP request logs. Retained 7 days.

The browser extension itself processes all network data locally in your browser. Stream URLs and decryption keys never leave your device.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not store the videos you download
• We do not store the content of streams or decryption keys
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use tracking pixels or behavioral advertising

4. Third-Party Services

• CryptoCloud — payment processing. Governed by CryptoCloud's Privacy Policy.
• Google Firebase Authentication — sign-in and identity. Governed by Firebase's Privacy & Security policy.
• Self-hosted PostgreSQL — our application database, operated on our own servers in the EU/UK. Not a third party.
• Google Fonts — font loading (standard GDPR-compliant usage).

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie for authentication purposes. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — this will prevent login from working.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data in machine-readable format

7. Data Retention

• Account data: retained until you delete your account
• Payment records: retained 7 years (legal requirement)
• Download logs: 30 days
• Server logs: 7 days

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. API keys and secrets are stored in environment variables, never in code.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. The latest version is always available at this URL.
